Action for
MN Kids

It began as hosting friends and family in our home to write postcards to local elected officials in the wake of the Annunciation tragedy. Now, Action for MN Kids is a grassroots campaign to encourage Minnesotans to speak up to end gun violence. Our goal is to get a postcard into the hands of every Minnesotan willing to advocate for our kids.

Organizing and simplifying information is my very favorite thing! So, I designed printed postcards (and a print-at-home option) and a tip sheet to make it easier for those who've never written to elected officials. At an event in January 2026, community members wrote over 300 postcards to legislators.
